Powerful search engine

Quick search; As soon as a job seekers enters your job site he can do a basic search. In seconds, the visitor can get job results just by entering a keyword or location to search for.

Advanced search; Job seekers can get even more detailed. In addition to keywords and locations, job seekers can specify the salary they desire, the type of position (part time/full time), and the experience level required.

Zip/postal code radius search; With the Zip Code Locator plug-in you can search for jobs within a specified mile radius of a zip you enter. We have data for the U.S., Canada, and UK postal codes.

Save your search; Want to save your search parameters so you can run them again later? With this feature, any registered job seeker can save searches to his account for later use.

Modify searches; If you want to change the search parameters after you performed a search, you don't have to enter them all over again. Just change the ones you want!


 

Search Engine Optimization

Search engine friendly URL's; All publicly accessible pages are optimized for search engines so your site is more likely to get crawled.

Dynamic META tags; META keyword tags can easily be added throughout the site. In addition, META descriptions are generated dynamically so that your site shows up with relevant information in the search engine search results.

Dynamic titles; Page titles are generated dynamically based on the page that is browsed. For job listing pages, the titles are search engine optimized to include the job title and description. Billing

Job postings; Charge for job postings, and set your own duration, quantity, and price. For example, 1 job posting for 15 days is $100, while 5 job postings for 30 days are $500.

Resume views; Charge employers for viewing resumes of job seekers in your database. Bill for a time period (days, weeks, months, etc).

Featured employer; Bill employers for being a featured employer on your homepage.

Job seekers; Alternatively, you can charge job seekers to be a part of the site. The software is set up to charge them for the ability to upload a resume.


Job Seekers

Video resumes; In additional to traditional resumes, job seekers will have the ability to upload video resumes of themselves.

Photos; Job seekers have the ability to upload a picture of themselves. These pictures show up in their main profile.

Profiles with custom URLs; Each job seeker has their own profile with a custom URL in the format: http://www.yoursite.com/person/username. These URLs can be sent to potential employers, as a result driving new employers directly to your site. Job seekers have full control over what is shown publicly with powerful privacy settings.

Upload resumes; Upload resumes in common formats such as Word or PDF, or copy and paste into a form.

Manage resumes; Manage resumes and update or delete existing ones.

View jobs; Job seekers can see what the job entails in detail. When viewing a job listing, the company name, location, industry, job description, and other information is shown

Search jobs; Searching for jobs is quick and easy. This Job Board has two types of job searches: quick and advanced.

Save searches; Most job seekers search for the same job every time they visit to see if there's anything new. With our save search feature, they can run a search with one easy click.

Save jobs; If a job looks appealing, a job seeker can save the job to his account for future reference.

Job agent; Job seekers can set up email alerts for new jobs that match their criteria. Job agent criteria can include keywords, location, experience, education, and more.

Employers

Backfill jobs; Starting a site with an empty database is hard. To make the process easier, we import jobs from Indeed if your database is lacking. Your listings always show up first, and are supplemented by the imported jobs. This makes your site look more active, and helps you get those first job seekers and employers to register.

Google Maps support; Allow job seekers to easily map out the employer's location when viewing a job posting. Integrated with the powerful Google Maps system, this is a great convenience for potential job seekers.

Post jobs; Allow employers to post jobs (free or paid). All postings include details job information as well as company logo if uploaded.

WYSIWYG editor;  Posting jobs has never been easier for employers. Our job board script now includes a WYSIWYG editor for job postings so that employers can easily color code, bold, adjust fonts, make bulleted lists, and much more!

Resume search; Search through resumes by keyword, location, major, experience, and more.

Featured jobs; A featured employer is displayed on the site homepage. This can be a paid listing, or chosen at random from all employers.

Manage job listings; Easily modify job listings. View, edit, delete, or suspended jobs that were posted. See which ones are active and which have expired.

Job statistics and applicants; Employers can easily see job statistics and all applicants. Quick links to applicants' resume and cover letter are provided as well.

Billing history; View billing history broken done by month and year. A printable invoice is generated for each month for easy record keeping.

Edit profile; Employers can edit their company information displayed on the site, upload a company logo, and manage their privacy settings.

Employer preferences; Employers can select their time zone, email settings, and the language they wish to view the site in.

General

Site statistics; View important statistics about your site such as the number job seekers, employers, resume, and much more. Our site statistics allow you to see how your site is growing and monitor trends.

CAPTCHA support;  Enable CAPTCHA support for forms prone to spam. CAPTCHA support is available for the registration forms, applying for jobs, and the contact page.

Settings

Payment gateway; Our job board software comes integrated with Authorize.net for payments. You can also purchase plug-ins for other gateways as well. Each gateway has its own settings which allow you to connect This Job Board to the gateway in seconds.

Email notification; Set up how and when you'd like emails to be sent out. Choose between HTML or plain text emails, and turn notifications on or off for various actions such as welcome emails for registrations, job postings, resume postings, and much more.

Free or paid site; Most job boards are set up to charge for job postings or resume views (and This Job Board does a great job of supporting this!). But if you're looking to run a free ad-supported site, you can easily turn your job board into a completely free site.

Currency and time zones; If you're not running your job board in the U.S., no worries! You can easily change your currency symbol to match your country. You can also set the time zone for the site so that all dates and times are accurate to the time zone you're operating in.

Upload limits; Set the maximum number of resumes/cover letters that a job seeker can upload, as well a file size limit on how large the uploads can be. This is great if you're worried about using up too much space.

Management

Members; Search through your member database easily to find accounts and make changes. You have full control over member account details and can update them on the fly.
